Hello, I’m Verity! I hold a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge (specialising in Zoology) and have a passion for making complex Maths and Science concepts clear, accessible, and engaging.
Having achieved A*A*A*A at A-Level (Biology, Maths, Chemistry, and Further Maths), I know firsthand what it takes to master challenging material and perform at the highest level.
I offer tailored 1:1 tutoring for ages 11–18, with flexible 1-to-2-hour sessions designed around your child’s unique learning style. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all curriculum, every lesson plan is built from scratch to focus on two core goals: complete conceptual understanding and bulletproof exam technique.
How I Work with Parents & Students:
Bespoke Delivery: Adapted to AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and IB specifications.
Clear Feedback Loops: Regular updates provided to parents to track progress, measure growth, and adapt lessons continuously over time.
Oxbridge Prep & Extension: Targeted guidance for admissions, personal statements, and interview preparation.
Whether your child needs help bridging gaps in core topics, preparing for major exams, or building foundational STEM confidence, my goal is to turn potential into top results.
Born and raised in the UK, I completed my studies there through to graduating from the University of Cambridge last summer with a degree in Natural Sciences. Throughout my degree, I covered a broad spectrum of the biological and chemical sciences, including plant biology, physiology, microbiology, cell biology, ecology, and evolution.
Since graduating, I have spent time in the field conducting tropical ecological research across the rainforests of Borneo and Costa Rica. Now back in Europe, I have recently settled in Berlin to begin my next chapter.
I have been tutoring students aged 11–18 for the past 5 years across a range of academic subjects. Today, I am focusing exclusively on my core passions—Maths and Biology—helping students master complex concepts, build exam technique, and gain lasting academic confidence.
